BEST. DAY. EVER. 10-28-23

Our wedding day was better then any fairytale I have ever read before. They say the day goes faster then you will ever imagine but they are not joking. It felt like it was gone in a blink of an eye.

The day started on Friday October 27th. We all got together to put the barn and my vision together. It was so relaxing and honestly just nice to be able to hang out with my friends and family. Decorating is my passion and I wish I did it for a living because it is one of my favorite things to do. I was in my element setting up the venue. We catered in Olive Garden for our rehearsal dinner and it worked out wonderfully! No one had to cook or clean anything.

After rehearsal Brandon and I went our separate ways - I stayed at an Air BnB with my girlfriends and he stayed at our home. I missed him but us girls had an amazing time just hanging out drinking wine. Highly recommend spending the night with your girls the night before.

I barely slept all night because I was so excited - not nervous just EXCITED! I could not wait to marry my best friend for the rest of our lives. We woke up around 6 am and the best day ever began.

Us girls got to get our hair and makeup down right at our venue which was amazing and also got to have mimosas and brunch together before we would walk down the isle. Getting ready was one of the core memories for the day. Hanging out with my best friends before I marry the man of my dreams is an incredible feeling and I would give anything to be able to do it everyday.

The day continued, we laughed, we cried, we took pictures - it was lovely.

It didn't hit me that I was getting married until I was alone in the room with my dad waiting to walk down the isle to my forever best friend. The song came on and my heart did not stop beating. It is a feeling that can never fully explained until you experience it and I pray that one day you all get to. Before I knew it I was walking towards my best friend who was standing at the altar with tears filling his eyes (never thought he would cry). I tried to walk as slow as possible and soak up every second of it but it is surreal. You loose yourself in the moment and next thing you know you are saying I do.

We wrote our own vows which was honestly my favorite part of the day - so sweet and personal. We also did a unity candle which I thought was a perfect addition to our ceremony. After the ceremony we took many pictures and tried to not freeze... and then we had dinner and hit the dance floor running. I wish the dance could have lasted until 4 am but I know that would have not be possible.

This day was truly the best day of my life and I will continue to talk about it until the day I die - all core memories that will last a life time.

Thank you to everyone who spent the day with us - we could not have asked for better friends and families!
